Google AdWords Manager - A Quick Overview

 

Once you've created your Google AdWords account, you will need to add a Google Ad Manager account to your existing account so that you can manage your Google AdWords campaigns from a central location. Visit the Google AdWords manager account homepage and open the new Google AdWords account wizard. If you aren't signed in already, open an account using your primary email address. You can then use the same primary email address for as many Google AdWords accounts as you wish (including manager accounts). Click Create a new account.

Provide the primary account with the name of your website, which you want to use as your ad's title. Select Create a new ad set. Type the description that you want to display on your ads. This description will appear on each ad that you create. Click Create.

To track how many people click on your ads, click on a campaign. You will see a campaign manager link. Click this link. You will see your campaign in Google Analytics. Click the campaign that you want to manage. Click the Campaigns dropdown menu. Click the Campaigns tab.

To track clicks on ads that aren't displayed on your website, click the 'Create campaign' button under the 'Manage' section. Type the URL of your website in the 'Source' field. This will appear at the top of your Google AdWords account. Click the drop down menu and select 'View Ads.' Click 'Create' to save your campaign.
